It means that I get to have a booth to sell my books at their Signature Authors event which has 1,000 people in attendance. I am one of 18 New Local Authors chosen. They will do the advertising. I submitted my book and application and was chosen! The guest author is Jodi Picoult. Dinner is included! I am quite pleased.

This is the link to the site. They have not published the list of authors yet. When they notified me, they said that after October 18 they would contact those on the waiting list. You have been in a healthy marriage for 52 years. Wow! What a testimony! That’s amazing. In the past, I’ve read some articles stating that egalitarian marriages aren’t happy, don’t work and/or don’t last. However, your 52 yr egalitarian marriage says different. Congrats!!!

Yes, absolutely! There is a book that you might want to read that just came out. It is called Marriage Minutes and is written by Christian Counselor Gerald Ford, who was also a Baptist pastor for many years. Egalitarian marriage is also known as Collaborative Marriage. In fact we are sponsoring him in his Conference on Collaborative Marriage in April 2014. So the link you sent says that egalitarian marriage doesn’t make women happier! They didn’t ask me. It is really disturbing that women are the biggest promoters of female submission. I have compared it many time to Middle Eastern women and I again.
