What difference does it make?

So what difference does it make if male headship is what they believe? Let me count the ways:

1. It determines, most importantly of all, how they vision God. If they vision God as giving a human man earthly dominion over a woman, they see a God who has shared his Lordship with man. You ought to run as fast as you can away from such teaching.

    Shirley:

    It makes a huge difference. In the SBC there is not even one woman in a senior staff level position.
    How can the women in the SBC ignore the Bible being twisted the way it is to shut them out of any major leadership positions? I do not get it!!
