They’ve stolen Jesus! Will you help us find Him?

Pastors and preachers have stolen Jesus and put a fake jesus in his place. A jesus who would not listen to a woman’s voice. A jesus who will demean women and call them the vilest name they can think of. Continue reading

God did not give males ‘divine right’ over women

We hear complementarian Christians say, “Because I was born male, I have a right to be in authority over my wife in the home,” and “Because you were born female, it is not your place to take leadership beside your husband in the home, or to take leadership in the church over men. Continue reading

Discussion of demand for an apology – Conclusion

It appears to me that instead of finding ways to justify why women should be held in submission, or subordination, and treated as second-class Christians, we would find any glimmer of hope in the scriptures and allow women to hear their calling from God. Continue reading

Banned – by 1 Timothy 2:12 NIV

1 Timothy 2:12 has been used to harm women in the church more than any other scripture. It is a scripture that a church uses when it decides what a woman can’t do. Every church has its own definition of what a woman can’t do, and they are not the same. Continue reading
